Examples of Hardware

The hardware is the least glamorous of the information revolution. Both in terms of function-wise and job wise, the software makes all the credit. Everyone says, rightly, a million things about Windows, Google, Photoshop, and a number of other software such as Adobe Acrobat, MS Office, and various types of programming languages. However, in contrast with that, the pieces of hardware receives praise is lukewarm.

Compared with wreaths and a bouquet of praise he receives the software, the hardware you have is a pat on the back, which is almost an afterthought. So what is the difference between hardware and software? Hardware are the physical magnetic electronic components, electrical, and peripherals, which make up a computer. The software program is needed to effectively implement the computer. For the implementation of software applications effectively, you need hardware components suitable. Examples include hardware components that make up the central processing unit (CPU) the computer like the motherboard, processor, hard drive and random access memory (RAM) and peripherals such as keyboard, mouse, monitor and modem.

Prominent among the hardware components of the processor. It is an integrated chip designed to make an incredible number of functions. Processor field has witnessed an exciting competition between two manufacturers of processors: Intel and AMD. The competition has served us well for customers and the two organizations always try to go one step higher than the other and be successful in most cases too. When AMD released a processor with a special feature, Intel will always continue with another feature that makes the AMDS characteristic dark and vice versa. The cycle continues as the processing speed and bit rate of the processor, two characteristics that determine the overall efficiency, move quickly.

Another example of computer hardware is the motherboard. It is a circuit designed to measure electrical and electronic equipment acting as a platform for slotting in other computer components. It has specific slots for specific components, such as processor, hard drive, RAM, network card, graphics and video cards, sound card and internal modem. The important thing is that the components must be compatible with the motherboard.

The computer has two types of memory: volatile memory and magnetically controlled electrical control of the temporary memory. These memory components are our next examples of computer hardware. Hard drive is the permanent memory where we store all files on a computer is stored. RAM is non-permanent memory, which is used to working memory while running the team.

Computer peripherals are another set of examples of computer hardware. Mouse and keyboard are the most popular among them. CD and DVD drives are also good examples. Monitor, modem, speakers, printer, scanner and all form the world of computer hardware. Though less brilliant, a minor error in these components, for example, s little dust on the RAM, you can halt the operation of all software applications.
